Skype and IQ Wb/FTP server's http server t !

Hi all

After I setup skype 3.5.0.214, http servet started to give error when i
try to start it after skype service. It says port 80 is allocated by
another aplication.

I do not know what does skype do with http port or does it realy
alocate http port but I have to use them togather on the same computer.

What can I do?

Hi,

Skype can use whatever port you want to.

Goto to your options menu and under the advanced settings you should
find a setting to specify which port skype uses. Change this so it
doesnt use any ports used by IQWF (or any other program)

Hello Burcin,

Skype is also a networking application and it -by default- uses ports 80 and
443 since firewalls permit them the most. Skype should be configurable in
that regard as to which port to use. I just approved a spam looking answer
message to your question which explains how to do just that.
