Position: WebLogic Administrator

Technical requirements:
- 5 yr BEA WebLogic administration (WLS 6/7/8).
- Strong Unix (preferably Solaris and/or RedHat Linux), including Unix shell scripting (sh/ksh/Perl/Python/tcl).
- Java/J2EE development background, strong oral/written communication skills, including documentation.
- Oracle connectivity (JDBC).
- Knowledge with monitoring, profiling and load-testing tools (OptimizeIT, ServerTrace, VisiBroker/Op-Center, JProbe, Performasure, FogLight, Topaz, SiteScope, Load-Runner).
- Role is to manage WebLogic infrastructure shared by many applications.
- Activities include installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, patching, troubleshooting, load-testing, profiling, documentation, change control and research new technologies. - Desirables include SDLC, Oracle, XML, Web Services, HTML, HTTP, LDAP, JSP. IIS, .NET, ASP.
- Experience with implementation of middleware infrastructure to support Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is highly desirable;
- Experience working with Enterprise Security and/or Identity and Access Management tools desirable;
- Experience with BEA Weblogic Portal and WebLogic Integration desirable;
