Rate : $50/hr. fixed
Job Description :
The IT Operations Analyst will be a part of the IT Operations Group.
The ideal candidate will lead and provide all aspects of IT operational
and application support for business critical systems.
Serve as the Tier II application support lead for multiple enterprise
wide systems.
Responsible for problem management and resolution of application issues.
Communicate to business owners, senior IT management and other
stakeholders on problem management, application issues and status on a
regular basis.
Lead operational efforts for new IT releases and system enhancements as
a part of the SDLC.
As the lead the IT Operations Analyst will work closely with IT
Development, QA, PM's and Business Owners to ensure prompt resolution of
application issues.
Qualifications :
Minimum of three years of analytical experience with the systems
development lifecycle.
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as experience
supporting senior level executives in a complex distributed computing
environment.
Must have the ability to quickly understand the business premise and a
customer service orientation.
Strong technical understanding of application design. Development
experienced preferred but not necessary.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Ability to work effectively and be flexible under tight schedules as
well as balance multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities.
Must have strong technical skills. :
* Oracle 9.i
* Fundamental Database Understanding
* Excellent PLSQL
* Autosys (or a comparable scheduling tool) Experience
* Actuate (or a comparable reporting tool) experience
* UNIX scripting (any flavor).
* Other technical skills that are desirable but not required.
* Callidus Software (any experience)
* TrueComp Version 3.7 and higher a plus
* TrueResolution
* Java
* WebLogic
* eTrust
