Travelers Insurance Company currently has a need for an IT/Technical
Recruiter position with Travelers Insurance - Hartford, Connecticut

Position will include full life cycle recruitment as well as organizing
media campaigns both print and TV, organizing and running open houses, cold
calling, networking, etc.

The candidate chosen MUST be a strong IT/Technical Recruiter with heavy
experience in the areas of Data Warehousing, Web Development (Java/J2EE) and
QA/Tester Analysts. It would also be necessary to have recruited in all
platforms, including

web, client server and mainframe.

Minimum Requirements:
. B.A./B.S. in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or similar field
. Minimum 7 years of experience recruiting - with the majority of that
recruiting in the IT/Technical realm.
. Prior experience as a recruiter in a Property & Casualty insurance
company would be a huge PLUS.
. Understanding of legal and ethical guidelines of recruitment and
selection.
. Experience and understanding of applicant tracking systems (PeopleSoft
preferred) and HRIS.
. Experience developing new candidate sourcing avenues including cold
calling, community networking and developing contacts within the industry.
. Perform full-life cycle recruiting (source, pre-qualify, interview,
assess, extend/negotiate offers) for mostly exempt level permanent corporate
positions.
. Values and embraces diversity.
. Ability to succeed in a large, corporate, metrics driven organization.

**Prior experience working for an insurance or financial services company is
a HUGE plus!

We have 30,000+ employees so this candidate MUST be from another large
corporate matrixed company environment, where they have recruited similar
job skilled candidates in the past.
