This excerpt from the mentioned book, is rather scary. You can see just

Actually, on second thought, it is very frightening to think about,

to contemplate the ease in which this all happened.... Is America about
to undergo this type of change in the name of "homeland security"?

I read the whole book a while ago, and recommend it.

The US is much more mature politically than Germany was between the wars
- Iraq today would be a closer parallel to 1920s Germany.

But this has nothing to do with IBrowse.
