Grrrr. UK ISPs and BT are totally useless aren't they.
It took BT *five weeks* to finally fix the problem that *they* caused when
doing other work locally. Now if only you could call BT and tell them what
the fault is and arrange for them to fix it but they insist you go via your
ISP who insist on doing all sorts of irrelevant tests first. arrange for BT
to do something, then BT don't turn up. BT close the issue because they say
there was no problem, issue gets opened again by ISP, a man from BT comes
round and tells me "it isn't working you are not getting a sync" but will
not cannot get the appropriate BT department to fix it, I have to go back
to the ISP. I told them what the problem was originally, why does no one at
BT listen to anything ?
Communications between ISPs and BT, even different divisions of BT really
sucks. When the appropriate BT guy did come round five weeks later it took
under an hour and a half to fix it.
I despair at BT and what we in the UK have to put up with compared to the
rest of the world.
Anyway to drift back on topic, IB2.4 seems to be running well now I can
actually use it properly again
Regards,
Bill.
