I've only just started using AmiNetRadio, but I'm finding the MIME type
I have set up for IBrowse doesn't work with typical URLs for Shoutcast
servers.
I have:
MIME Type Extension Action
audio/x-scpls mpu m3u pls External viewer
Viewer Arguments
APPS:Internet/AmiNetRadio/AmiNetRadio URL %r
The shoutcast web page links work, but those are dynamic and can't be
saved. At the moment, this one is valid and works for IBrowse from the
Shoutcast page:
http://www.shoutcast.org/sbin/shoutcast-playlist.pls?rn=9239&file=filename.pls
Permanent URLs for Shoutcast servers sometimes work, but most often are
in a form that *almost* works. This one works:
http://somafm.com/groovesalad.pls
but one like this doesn't:
http://205.188.215.231:8000/listen.pls
*unless* I open the URL gadget in ANR and strip out the 'listen.pls'.
Any hints on using typical web links for Shoutcast servers for ANR
through IBrowse?
