IIRC the restrictions I was thinking of may have been different, related
to US government security law. (I'm thinking of the MiamiSSL Int'l
package.) But perhaps I'm completely misinformed or mis-remembering all
of that.

Thanks for the information. I hope this shouldn't impact usability for
US residents. That was (IIRC) the main issue with the MiamiSSL package -
US residents were at a disadvantage in negotiating with certain secure
sites.

Just change your locale to Europe before you install and then back
again.
