Yes! That timeout in YAM is very annoying. Why don't let me use a (for me)
stable beta and let me decide when to update. It's very annoying to be forced
to update to a potentially unstable beta with no way to go back.

Problem is with no timeout Jens wold not know which version people
were using when reporting bugs. ; Anyway you could zap the timeout
with a Hex editor if you were really desperate.
