Thread: Problem with URL events on live audio/video broadcast

Problem with URL events on live audio/video broadcast

Hi:

I have a problem with real events :

I have use advencoder sample to broadcast audio/video to
Real Server
(single-password auth type) and send event.
I create a thread to send event during the audio/video
broadcast (URL
events).
I set DisableWallclock to true to avoid the timestamp
synchronization
problem but when I send an event this event isn't handling
by real
player, just I see a communicating advise.

What is wrong?

best regards,
Christian

What do you mean by "see a communicating
advise"?

How often are you sending events? It's possible there's
an issue (not sure
if I call it a bug) with the player waiting to
"buffer" the event stream
and you not having sent any events yet. It's a good idea
to send a
constant event stream at a specific bit rate rather than
just events when
the happen.

Jeff:

Sorry, I referred to the communicating notice of Real
Player.
It´s possible send event just when it happens, I need send
event to
change a presentation slice synchronized with the
audio/video stream
embed in a web page?
