Thanks for that. The 3-10 example files are not a problem,
but the
format is specified by ISO standard documents that cost 90
Swiss francs
each (and I'm not sure how many would be needed). I don't
know if I'm
ready to come up with that kind of money--I'll think about
it.
For possible future reference, the Motion JPEG-2000 (MJ2)
file format is
defined as an extension of ordinary JPEG-2000. Or, in more
technical
terms, according to http://www.ec
e.uvic.ca/~mdadams/jasper/
At least, ImageMagick is included in the list of
"Known Users of Jasper
Software". The Jasper documentation makes no mention
of MJ2. If Jasper
does suport MJ2 at some future time, it may not be necessary
or
desirable to go back to the original ISO documents. I'll
raise this
issue with the Jasper people. (I write this not knowing
whether it
would even make technical sense for Jasper to support MJ2.
Perhaps this
is outside its scope.)
