Problems Debugging with Kdevelop

Hello again, folks I'm having issues debugging magick core
aplications 
in kdevelop it seems to generate no debug info so GDB
igonres my break 
points and doesn't prints my watchers, anyone else had a
similar problem?

Isn't debug info the result of certain compiler switches ?

Why do you think it's ImageMagick-specific ?
