ICM Profiles?

I am trying to assign ICM profiles to some RGB images. The
file  
upload solution I use strips them and I need to put them
back. The  
command (shown below) is throwing a "unable to open
image  
`AdobeRGB1998.icm': No such file or directory". If I am
reading this  
right does that mean it can't find the profile and therefore
cannot  
embed? Where are profiles stored on OSX?

mogrify -profile AdobeRGB1998.icm /pathtofile/fire.jpg'

Profiles can be in numerous places on OSX. The two promary
locations are:

/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/
/System/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/

The ColorSync utility will show all locations. And you must
pass the full
path to the profile to ImageMagick unless the location is
the ImageMagick
root.

However, my memory is foggy, but the error message sounds
like a lingering
bug in 'mogrify'. Try 'convert' with the same input output
file name.
