Hello,
did someone using IM for lenticular purposes
(autostereoscopy), like
a) generate a set of input images for the lenticular
process:
- making "snap shots" of flat images with
different angles
- making "snap shots" of a layered image where
the layers
are placed a bit differently in each snap shot to boost
the
3D effect
- using a grey scale image as a depth map for a flat
image
b) producing the combined lenticular image by cropping
slices
of the input images and pushing & appending them
together
as a function of the lines-per-inch (LPI) value of the
used
lenticular lens foil
There are professional lenticular software with a long
development history like 3DZ EXtreme
(http://www.lenticula
rsoftware.de) but for a prohibitive
price so I am wondering if IM could be used.
Some ideas?? Thank you!
best regards
Günter
