Stretching

Hi,

Is it possible to "stretch" an image?
I don't mean the normal resize, but a special one 

Let me explain:

If I have an image from 100x100 and I want to stretch it to
200x100.

But then I want the left part to be "normal",
and the further the image
get's to the right side, the further the image looks
stretched.

Like if my image is like 5 stripes

-----

Then I would like the resulting images to be:
-*-**-***-****-*****-

(stars is the amount of stretch in that area).
And that the stretch looks "fluently"?
