I've been thinking about which mental states actually block
creativity
and free impulses. I feel that there is a part of the mind
which tries
to force thoughts into a rigid and standardized pattern (of
socially
acceptable) thoughts. All thoughts which do not correspond
to
that "commonly accepted" view of the world are
denied attention. When
I'm in that state, it seems my feelings prevent me from
expressing
myself freely, and liberating what I have on my mind. I care
about what
people are going to say if xxx...
I'm wondering how most people deal with that experience. How
do they
squelch the squelcher? For people who rarely feel inhibited,
how do you
manage that?
Those self-imposed limitations make me angry...
