How about you use your "free will" to make your imagestreams a little less dark and
idiosyncratic, but more cheerful and of general appeal? Now, if you "choose" to do it,
I'd suggest not attributing it to your free will, but rather to having been in contact
with a meme that offered a better option than your previous strategy. And if you choose
not to follow it and to make your images even darker, then it's again not because of your
free will but because you had such a disastrous upbringing full of crimes and what-not
that staying on the darker side feels more right for you, so much so that you don't have
a choice but to stay there. Whichever path is followed, ask yourself if the
"decision" was made before or after you became aware that the decision was made.
The correct answer is that the "decision" was made before you became aware of it.
Said differently, the Universe followed only one path, and after you observed what path
it had followed, your brain's awareness justified the course of events in whatever way
suited it, by presenting you with an explanation that fits your experience and worldview.
