That's true. I've been part of this group for several years now and while there are the regular posters, for the most part the players are constantly changing.
Then you figure that there are a certain percentage of members who set themselves to no-mail, so they're not necessarily reading what's posted, others have bouncing email addresses so they're not getting anything that's posted anymore but are technically still members, there are also people, such as myself, who are signed on with more that one email address. So the assertion that there are 2000+ members of this group is misleading.
Few people are going to participate in a discussion if they feel they have to, which is why I said "no" on the poll. The proposed group sounds unpleasant.
