Speaking for myself, it's not you posting your thoughts, it's what the thread turned into that bugs me. Especially since there have been other, on topic posts that seem to have been swallowed by the vitriol, which is a shame.

Nothing wrong with going off-topic every now and again especially if that's where your streams take you.

Hmm, I see what you mean. I don't think I'd of complained at all if
Yahoo Groups had some kind of "ignore" or filtering function. It
certainly didn't last time I checked, anyway. One of many
muchly-needed improvements to the service, in my opinion ;)
