I don't know if he is still on the list serve, but there was a fellow named andrew
who was image streaming for his sat's. He mentioned a phenomena, that is common to image streaming at the beginning. His verbal scores started increasing right at the beginning and his nonverbal scores were delayed. I was told it takes avout 3 months before it comes up on paper and pencil tests. Does anyone have any idea as to why that is?
thanks

As evoked potential theory goes, it is not only speed but complexity of response that goes with iq.

conversation that I learned that the crticial value
was not so much the speed of reaction in the brain as
it was the speed in which reaction spread from one
part of the brain to another. I had not gotten that
from his literature, but it seems to have been a very
crucial point. I think it is that conversation, as
much as anything, which eventually led to our own
theory on Pole-Bridging in the brain.
I lost track of Ertl soon afterward, and do not know
if he is even still alive. If he is, I would VERY
much like to resume that conversation... ...win
