Just ordered 4 books on neuroplasticity

I will let you all know if they are good or not. One of them was "the
mind and the brain"; recommended by someone on this list.

To me neuroplasticity is a critical area of study for the development
of the human mind and brain. It holds the key to the mental
improvement we are all looking for.

Jim, who was banned from the list, offered the best advice though in
making functioning more effective: keep it simple yet highly
effective. Strive for simplicity rather than complicating things.
