Dear Folks,


Ginna won't be posting, she passed away peacefully in her
sleep last night. Thank you for all your support. She
cherished it and loved each and every one of you.

DX 3/24/03  55 yrs, Stage 3b, ER/PR -, Her2 + 
4x3 TAC, left MRM 7/10/03, 5/7 + nodes 
lymphedema 
12/01/03 radiation 
12/16/03 very light skin rash on chest below MRM area,
Biopsy +, radiation stopped 
1/8/04 weekly Herceptin, combined with Taxol &
Carboplatin for 2 out of every 3 weeks for 3 months 
2/4/04 - 3/26/04 lymphedema therapy 
4/13/04 PET & CT scans clear - NED, Herceptin every 3
weeks 
7/6/04 results of MRI, PET and heart ultrasound - heart fine
& still NED but bad arthritis in my back 
10/xx/04 PET shows worrisome area under right arm 
11/13/04 Started Xeloda for lymph nodes in non-ibc side -
didn't help 
2/8/05 surgery to remove nodes on non-ibc side, 18/29+ 
3/7/05 25 rads 
6/7/05 PET scan clear - NED

Dick, 

Although she will no longer post, Ginna will always be with
her IBC Sisters looking over us from a better place.  She
fought the fight so many have fought before her.  The fight
that we all wish no one will ever fight have to fight again.
However, the fight goes on and we all will stop a while, cry
a bit, and forge ahead with her at our side.   Although some
of us may lose our battle to IBC, IBC never wins for it can
not take away our love and devotion for eachother.  Remember
her and the good years you two shared.  Keep her in your
heart.  

You are one of those, like me, who has watched his love
suffer and go away.  Should you ever feel the need to talk,
I am here for you.  You and your family are in my thoughts
and prayers.
