Hello, brave souls:
As some of you know, I am monitoring this list for my
friend, Diann, who was
diagnosed in August 2006. She's been through chemo, a
mastectomy, then
radiation and more chemo. Stopped chemo in May and is doing
fine except for
some itching problems. She is already looking into
reconstructive surgery
and would like to get advice on tram flap reconstruction.
Has anyone out
there had this procedure? Pros and cons? Her main
consideration is she
doesn't want to do anything that might block or hide a
recurrence. Also, if
anyone has any plastic surgeon recommendations (in the area
of Topeka, KS),
we'd appreciate it.
