Hi Lou Ann,
Obviously, I don't know if you have inflammatory breast
cancer or not - but NEITHER does your doctor and his/her
nurse. Please, please seek out the opinion of a doctor who
specializes in breast care - either a surgeon or oncologist.
When you call to make an appt., tell them that you have
classic signs of ibc and need to be seen immediately. Not
in a month, or two weeks, but right away.
If you've been to our website, you know that ibc is often
missed by mammograms and ultrasound, and too often
misdiagnosed and treated with antibiotics.
I know I'm probably alarming you, and I'm very sorry for
that. As I said, I have no idea what is causing your breast
to swell, etc. I do know that it's urgent that you find
out the answer.
Best regards,
Mary Ann
