Hi Lydia,
I am hoping and praying for good results with your new
treatment plan! I only hope you don't get too down on
yourself for going off Femara. It is such a hard decision
and there is no crystal ball! I just had my first set of
scans since going off chemo last winter and luckily
everything was clear. My doctor said- it was a risky
decision but we could have been doing chemo this whole time
when we could have been on a break. I know I have saved
myself this time off and my body will be better rested for
what might lie ahead- I had been on chemo for the last five
years. So we never know- maybe it is better your body got
a rest and can better fight now. I hope you never second
guess yourself (I know much easier said than done) we all
fight and do the best we can with what we know at the time-
and we all need a break sometimes! The important thing is
that you did not cause your cancer- and you did not cause
it to spread- cancer does that all on it's own!
Jeanine
