Calli,
Your dedication to your Mom still brings a song to my heart
and tears to my eyes. You symbolize what a daughter means
to all mothers and fathers. Children like you give our
lives meaning. As you go on with life, keep your Mom's love
in your heart and keep us all in your prayers as we will
keep you in ours. Thank you for being one of our family and
sharing all that you shared with us. God with God.
Rich in NJ.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to write to let you know I will be leaving the site
and
unsubscribing in a day or two. Alot of you knew my Mother
who died 1 year ago today from a 5 year battle with IBC. I
miss her terribly and I have tears from time to time. Today
is a tough day for me. however, I can, now, smile with happy
thoughts and remember good times and all the lessons she
taught me. I do miss her so! I haven't posted much since my
Mom's passing but have regularly checked emails and kept
updated with your lives and things that are happening. Thank
you Pete (and Menya!), for starting this support group.....I
hope you realize just how many people have turned to you and
this list for support and with tremendous fear have realized
their IS hope. I can tell you the day I found this site
online, I was extremely scared and distraught and within a
few emails form folks here, I soon realized it wasn't really
that rare and the wonderful people here helped ease my fears
and guided me in the right direction. to all the
"newbies" out there, I want you to know you have
found the best place for support and love and friendship.
These people are the most remarkably, amazing, loving people
I have ever known in my life. I am inspired by their
courageous and amazing strength. To everyone here, I hope
your treatments continue successfully and I will hold each
of you in my heart and remember you in my prayers daily.
Rich---what can I say, you are simply one amazing guy! You
contribute so much to this group and they are better people
beacuse of you. your words of wisdom touched my soul many,
many times and I love you my friend. Virginia---you are one
amazing woman who gives major hope to those here. your story
made me realize their IS hope and IBC is not always a death
sentence.
I love you, my dear friends and I am honored to have
been(not the reason, of course) a small part of this group
and I am forever grateful !
If any of you want to email me privately you may do so, and
of course, I will be in contact with Mare from this site,
whom I love and adore.
Never stop spreading the word about
IBC. Awareness is so vitally important. I have a website at
an online scrapbooking place and over 90,000 people are
members there. I have on my webpage about IBC and how you
dont have to have a lump to have breast cancer. It's amazing
how many people have asked me about that. You CAN! make a
difference, even in the smallest of places. Good luck,
hold each other close, play fair and have the best Christmas
ever!
Happy Holidays, my friends......
Calli ~ in Central Ohio~....daughter to the best Mom in the
world who passed away one year ago today with IBC. I love
you, Mom!
P.S. Thank you, Anne, for the Memorial site...I visit there
often.
