Thanks to all for the many responses I've received. I've
answered most
individually, but I must let the group know that I was NOT
dreaming -- the
IBC pink ribbon I envisioned was used on the invitation to
the MDAnderson
opening of the IBC Clinic! For those of you who still have
it, it is in the
upper left corner. (For those who don't have the invitation
and would like
to see the logo, please write me and I'll send you the
attachment.)
For those who sent me information to the ibcsupport website
-- I've been
there and have seen the 2 pins they have. I also think the
brochure and
bookmark needs to be updated. I mean, can anyone really tell
me what that
design is supposed to imply? Frankly now, if you did not
have IBC, would
you be drawn to read what the brochure or t-shirt says? I
don't know about
the rest of you, but I have many different styles of pink
ribbons and
usually don't leave the house without one of them on -- but
to have one that
directly speaks to us of our disease? That is awesome!
Now, we need to know the steps to make the MD Anderson IBC
pink ribbon the
official IBC logo.
Suggestions?
Linda
