need your opinion

You may not have IBC, but let me just share my odd
situation.  I had a lump on the side
  of my breast.  My gyn thought it was a sebacous cyst but
said he didn't want to be the one
  to blow off something that may turn out to be a serious
situation so he ordered a mammogram.  The mammogram came out
clean but the radiologist said that the lump was actually a
lymph node and just didn't like the way it looked.  he
ordered more mams and also an ultra-sound.  They too looked
good, but my lymph nodes just bothered him.  He scheduled a
biopsy but I had to wait 10 days to go because the docs were
heading out to Isreal to donate some equipment so they were
overbooked.  Within that time my breast became heavy and
seemed to be getting larger.  My skin started to ridge
around the nipple area.  I started to research the web and
became more and more nervous because I couldn't find
anything that it could be besides cancer and perhaps IBC.  
My  biopsy came out positive for breast cancer and even
though I didn't have the blotches and inverted nipple
(though by this time my nipple was inflamed)  my oncologist
began treating me for inflamatory breast cancer.  Four
 months of chemo and a mastectomy later my pathology report
said overlying skin/nipple positive for deep dermal
lymphatic infiltration by carcinoma.
  So I was actually fortunate (I guess that's the word) 
that the cancer didn't  spread through my skin so they are
calling it pre-inflammatory breast cancer and they are
staging me at IIIA.  I will never disregard any physical
irregularity.  I am so grateful to the radiologist because
if he had decided not to biopsy me, God only knows where I
would be right now.
