Taxotere was enormously rough for me. All my finger and toe
nails are gone.
I have hand and foot neuropathy. And I had the extreme
tiredness so much
that I was considering asking the Onc for a handicapped
parking permit. The
odd pains like you had too.
My mrm was Oct 16. I went through a few rough weeks. BUT
the path report
showed that the chemo had "killed" the cancer.
And now I actually have
energy! In fact yesterday and today I primed and painted my
family room
ceiling. This energy is kind of scary because I haven't had
this much
energy for years. Aside, I had a toenail fungus. And I'm
wondering if the
taxotere killed the fungus. Maybe the fungus was keeping me
tired. I
didn't want to take the lamasil for the toenails because my
podiatrist said
it was hard on the liver. I used a topical treatment and
ate tons of
yogurt.
I start rads on Thursday. I understand it brings with it
extreme fatigue.
So I'm glad I got a few things done while I have energy. I
am praising God
for great docs and great chemo. And good pain meds too.
