Debra's update

Hi, Debra.  I had A/C and needed medication for nausea with
them.  With
Taxol, my biggest problem was the bone pain that would hit
about 3 days
after each treatment.  My onc. first told me to take extra
strength Tylenol
(starting before the pain).  That didn't help, neither did
the Vicodin that
we tried next.  The last two Taxol treatments I had Morphine
Sulfate
tablets, and as far as I could tell, they didn't help
either.  Fortunately,
the pain didn't last longer than a week at most.  Here's
hoping you have
something that does help with the bone pain!  Also, I took
frozen blue ice
packs in with me and took off my shoes and put my feet on
them during the
treatments to help prevent neuropathy in my feet (I already
had some), and
my feet didn't get any worse.  HTH!
