Senior User Researcher
Avenue A/Razorfish has an immediate opening for a user
researcher in our
Chicago office. As a member of our User Experience
community, you would
work with our strategy, creative, and technology teams to:
# Understanding target audiences' needs and other
motivating factors
that drive behavior, and developing key insights and
frameworks to help
clients and design teams respond to the work
# Helping to translate insights into concepts for compelling
interactions and experiences
# Developing POVs around specific user groups and in
specific industries
based on ongoing research work
# Consulting to project teams on user insights and behaviors
relative to
their projects
QUALIFICATIONS
# Degree in a related field, such as human-computer
interaction, product
design, interaction design, anthropology, human factors, or
equivalent
experience
# 5+ years experience
# Demonstrated expertise in-context ethnographic research
methodology
and qualitative inquiry
# Expertise in translating findings from qualitative
research into
actionable insights for innovation (Persona/user modes, need
states, and
experience modeling)
# Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
# Excellent video capture and editing skills
(non-professional software)
# Experience in client services and negotiating business
decisions
# Experience working with design teams to translate user
research into
design decisions
# Willingness to travel
