I have been reading the postings on the list for a long time
and have never
posted. This thread grabbed my attention. I am currently a
taxonomist for
a start-up online job service, Market10. We were started by
the founder of
Careerbuilder.com and are using matching technology to make
sure the
recruiters and job seekers are on equal footing. Our goal
is to put the
junior IA in touch with a junior IA job (etc.) in the
location the seeker is
looking to work in.
We are currently only in the DC market, (we do power the
entire MCI/Verizon
Business Career Center) but are expanding nationwide in the
next couple of
months. I would encourage you to go to market10.com and
fill out your
profile.
Any feedback on the site, set-up, etc. would be welcomed and
appreciated.
