Santa Monica, CA based integrated marketing communications
firm is
looking for an exceptionally talented person with 5+ years
experience to
fill a challenging hybrid Information Architect / Producer
position.
You'll be working with interactive strategists and designers
to solve
interactive marketing challenges for nationally and
internationally
recognized brands. You'll enjoy a comfortable workspace, the

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead user research and modeling
- Collaborate with client to define project requirements
- Document user requirements
- Collaborate with strategists and designers to
conceptualize solution
- Develop use cases, object lists, and content matrices
where necessary
- Create low-fidelity paper prototypes that thoroughly
articulate
content, structure and behavior
- Conduct usability evaluations
- Lead user testing and reporting
- Create Project Plans
- Define and manage resources, budget, and timeline for
select projects
- Act as key contact with client for projects you manage
- Lead quality assurance for projects you manage
To qualify for this position, you need to have a bachelor's
degree from
an accredited university in a related field of study, such
as
architecture, HCI, the cognitive sciences, liberal arts,
etc. You must
have an intense curiosity about people and their behavior.
You need to
be able to work well from the high-level conceptual stage
throughout the
project to the fine detail stage. You must have excellent
writing skills
and a talent for clear, concise communication. You need to
have thorough
knowledge of usability for the web, a solid understanding of
design for
current web technologies, and possess expert level skills
with
professional drawing tools to create architectural diagrams.
You need to
collaborate exceptionally well with User Experience
Designers, and
Interactive Strategists to rapidly build conceptual
prototypes that lead
to finished products. You must be willing to embrace a
strong procedural
method. Strong written and verbal communication skills are
essential.
You need exceptional project management skills. You must be
organized,
dependable and have experience juggling multiple
tasks/projects to be
successful in this position.
