The reality, not the rhetoric, of "usability
validation" out there is that
it's tacked on to the end of the design process or most
likely *after* the
product ships: it's disjointed. This marketplace reality is
what I'm arguing
against. I don't want the usability vendors to be able to
turn this into a
"best practice."
