>As if design doesn't get judged by
>the ultimate validators: users.
This is so totally off point to be silly. The question was
internal versus
external testing. And what do you supposed is used for
testing? Real
users.
>I mean precisely what I said: you want resources to be
siphoned off from
>design to design validation, in money and time. Read
back what you wrote.
Huh? No one is advocating siphoning anything. Read the
question that was
posed. It was internal versus external testers, so once
again that
presupposes that a test was going to occur. It's a question
of who should
do it.
>So, after all that mumbo jumbo, you seem to agree that
bias and conflict of
>interest can be found internally or externally, but that
you prefer the
>external bias.
Totally incorrect and not what I said. SOME external firms
recreate the
conflict of interest that is INHERENT is the process of
internal test teams
UNLESS full support is provided by management.
Apparently you failed to understand the either question
asked OR the answer
given.
