I think you'll find that's missing the point of Ziya's
post... 

But seeing as we're going literal, I can attest to the fact
that
motorcyclists here in the UK have for many years (possibly
even from
before the Second World War) dabbled with various designs of
heated
grips:

I once rode a bike that had them. Like the article says, the
problem was
gloves though. If you wear proper winter biker gloves, then
the heating
elements just get insulated away from your skin, and if you
wear thin
summer gloves, you end up with warm palms and ice cold
knuckles. Didn't
try them in combination with muffs on the bars though, so
maybe that's
the answer.
