OVERVIEW
The User Interface Visual Designer will be a founding member
of the newly
created and growing user experience team.  The ideal
candidate will be a
highly motivated graphic designer experienced in creating
the visual assets
of web-based software applications. Expertise in web
technologies,
especially CSS, is highly valued. Due to large acquisitions,
this role will
be integral in creating a consistent look and feel across
the variety of
acquired brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Extend the company brand to the visual design of multiple
applications 
• Write detailed visual design specifications 
• Create application splash screens 
• Create and maintain Cascading Style Sheets 
• Design icons and maintain icon catalog 
• Create user interface mockups and prototypes 
• Assist in documenting user interface standards and design
patterns 
• Optimize artwork for web delivery • Manage multiple
concurrent visual
design projects

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Expert in visual design for web-based software
applications with 3+ years
experience 
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite • Expert in CSS and
knowledgeable of
other web technologies and standards • Strong written and
verbal
communication skills 
• Self-directed, well organized and detail oriented 
• BFA, Masters preferred

Compensation package includes base salary and excellent
