Our landlords use Sharepoint for the purposes of
communicating with all the tenants in our office block.
This includes a system for booking shared meeting rooms,
up-to-date email lists etc (though they only seem to work if
you use Outlook, not other email programmes like Outlook
Express) and they post tenant meeting agendas, minutes etc
on there too. There is the facility for us to post notices
up about events we are running but the system hasn't been up
and running very long so none of us have really started
maximising its potential yet. It seems to work pretty well
for what our landlords use it for - so far - but as I'm not
the administrator I wouldn't necessarily be aware of any
issues they may have had with it. Hope that helps.
