Dear Alyssa,

Do you need to find a local database maven, or can you work with a
consultant in another state?

If the latter, then it's worth considering two very good firms here in
the Boston area that specialize in the database needs of nonprofit
organizations:

Databases Designs Associates
<http://www.dbdes.com>
Steve Backman, sbackmandbdes.com

The Data Collaborative
<http://www.datacollaborative.com>
Eric Segal, ericdatacollaborative.com

Both Eric and Steve will cheerfully tell you if they think the other
guy is a better match for your needs.

Full disclosure of financial relationship: Neither of these
organizations pay me to say nice things about them.

Best regards from Deborah
