Dear Colleagues,
If your organization doesn't have a presence in Second Life
<http://www.secondlife.com>, then please disregard this.
But if your organization *does* have a destination in Second Life, and
you'd like to be listed in the Nonprofit Directory that is being
compiled, then please get in touch with Tom Maroney.
Many thanks and best regards from Deborah

Subject: [TechSoup-Second-Life] Content Needed / Backend for Nonprofit
Directory nearing completion
To: TechSoup Second Life <TechSoup-Second-Life
googlegroups.com>
The backend for the Nonprofit Directory is almost finished. Max Case,
a skilled scripter, long time SL resident, and RL programmer, is
donating his time to the project, and is working out the last
remaining bugs in the script and db backend before it is ready for
testing.
I am working on the design for the two versions and have started to
collect content for the directory.
Support for Healing, Make a Wish and Amoration have already been contacted.
If you know of an org who should be listed in the directory, give them
a notecard explaining the directory and listing the items we need from
them. You can get one of these notecards from me, Bath Kavka,
Glitteractica, or Dana Childs. The most recent version is "Nonprofits
in SL Directory v.2".
You can also get a copy of this notecard by clicking on the "coming
soon" sign thrown onto the mockup of the directory at the TS site.
Stay tuned for the beta release, as we will need some testers before
we begin distributing it.
