Dear Colleagues,
The Boston Globe has been running some articles about
Wikipedia.Org,
and I ended up being quoted this morning. I had a fair
amount to say
about what the nonprofit sector and the Wikipedia Foundation
had to
learn from each other, but somehow what got published was
some
tangential remarks I made on other topics.
So I decided to make my points by writing a blog article,

I've been thinking about this for a couple of months now,
because
Massachusetts has been selected to host the 2006
international
Wikipedia conference. I'd love to see our local nonprofit
sector
enter into dialogue with the Wikimaniacs about volunteerism,
online
collaboration, and knowledge in the public interest.
