We're planning to buy some new digital videocameras in the next week or so.
We're considering buying one higher-end videocamera that would be used primarily for recording trainings (ie, on a tripod and operated by someone who knows what they're doing), and then several less expensive and easier to use models that would be used both for advocacy and for our annual new lawyer training, during which we videotape our new lawyers and play their performance back to them on laptops or on DVD players. These less expensive videocameras would likely be used by many different people in our organization, so ease of use is of paramount importance (having lots of features is much less important).
Cost matters but we do have a reasonable budget for this.
If you have something you like, either the higher-end type or lower-end, please let me know. The more you can tell me about it, the better.
