(ISF) One Laptop Per Child - Laptop Name, Production Specs, Location & Date

It a banner day at One Laptop Per Child News, my all OLPC, all the time, obsession. Today in news about the OLPC we have:

- an official name for the laptop: the Children's Machine (CM1) http://www.olpcnews.com/photos/prototypes/the_childrens_machin.html

- initial production specs, with a hardware surprises, like an SD slot, breaking from the usual very pro-Open Source mode http://www.olpcnews.com/photos/prototypes/childrens_machine_cm.html

- and a production location for Quanta, the OLPC OEM, in a cheaper part of China, and a production date, the first half of 2007 http://www.olpcnews.com/hardware/oems/quanta_building_cm1.html
