The nice thing about intel macs are now you can run both windows and Mac os on the same machine. This should help you transition over.

I use both and the I love my mac other then the mouse which most users have a problem with and I changed out the day I got my macs out of the box.

However one thing you might want to do is first the people in your place that user graphic or video programs have them be your first people you change over. Graphic programs run better and easier on mac vs pc and they will love you and help with changing your other users.
