Greetings. I am the founder and pricipal of a non-profit
organization that focuses on helping people facing serious
health challenges find meaning, value, and purpose in their
lives. I've been doing this in my surgical practice starting
30 years ago and I created supportive groups (called HOPE
Groups) for this purpose in 1987. We know how
therapeutically valuable this work is and how to share and
replicate it. We now wish to submit it to clinical study. As
a part of the program, we will be training people how to do
this work and will need to keep in touch with them and their
institutions to support them with our lengthy experience. We
feel that the Internet is a vital part of providing this
service, and wonder whether a BBS (like Vision Quest), a
blog, and/or a Yahoo group would be the best for closed,
password- protected ongoing forums and individual
consultations.
This group seems to be a perfect place to raise this
concern. Thanks for your help.
