There is an interesting grant opportunity from the IRS about a new tool being developed for nonprofit groups accessing their web site for recognition as a 501(c)(3) organization.
“Cyber Assistant” is a web-based tool that guides applicants seeking tax exempt status through the creation of IRS Form 1023, Application for Recognition of Tax Exempt Status under section 501 (c )(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The tool contains IRS approved educational content and validation routines to ensure the application is complete prior to submission to the IRS.
