If you are doing data presentation only, go for a LCD
projector, they tend to be a little brighter at the same
Lumin settings.

If you do data and video. Go for a DLP one, they have better
contrast ratio.

Get a XGA projector(1028x768) since that is most like the
resolution your laptop will be using. Epson, NEC, Panasonic
makes good LCD monitors. If you go for DLP, get an infocus
one. Don't get anything less than 1600 lumin.
