Any advice about a simple (for end user), inexpensive, elegant, hosted content management tool that will allow for the following:
1. Each member of the organization (the members are small film producers) can have a personal home page with bio and contact info (either linked or on that page); the ability to create and link to additional hosted html pages containing info on projects in progress, as well as to create, edit, and maintain links to other websites; the ability contain links to 3rd party websites (like You Tube, or possibly the CMS provider is host) where video clips can be stored and accessed; availability of unique domain name for their "site".
Their site will function as a marketing brochure for their projects and enable them to incorporate their choice of third party fundraising tools via weblinks. All this will operate under the fiduciary umbrella of the existing nonprofit umbrella service organization.
Could this be as simple as setting up a small site via yahoo? I believe they have some sort of cms available. I have been using them for some small projects- site hosting and domain names and have generally been very happy with the service I have gotten - although that sometimes means holding on to the phone a long time. I solved that problem by phoning at 1AM. They're dying for someone to talk to then.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Jim
