I've just taken on a new project - to build a website for a martial arts school. The school offers classes for adults, teens, 7-10 year olds, and 3-6 year olds.

I want to solicit opinions about the issue of using pictures of the children on the website. (Think: a room full of children in the same martial arts pose, or perhaps a couple of the children standing with their instructor.)

On the one hand, I want the website to be flashy, friendly and representative of the school, which means using pictures of the kids. On the other hand, I want to be safe - I don't want to cause any safety problems for any of these children - and I'm not sure if posting photos alone would do that. I definitely see tons of kids' pictures posted online (at other martial arts websites or at just regular schools). I am assuming I wouldn't use their names on the website. But is that enough for cybersafety?

I solicit y'all's thoughts & experiences.
