D2D (Doorways to Dreams) Fund, Inc. (www.d2dfund.org) is seeking a Director of Special Projects to help lead its work developing innovative saving and asset building opportunities, and financial services more broadly, for low and moderate income consumers.
LOCATION: Boston, Massachusetts
EMPLOYER: D2D Fund creates practical financial innovations and tests them emphasizing scalability and public policy implications. D2D Fund is a small nonprofit but operates in a national framework.
POSITION: The Director of Special Projects will be responsible for helping to formulate, develop and implement pilot projects and other programs that support D2D's mission. Shaping D2D projects requires a working knowledge of financial services, information technology and the needs of low and moderate income households attempting to save. The Director must be comfortable in corporate, grassroots and public policy arenas. Typical projects require a creative modification of existing technologies, public policies, financial service products and/or social programs. A qualified applicant should hold a graduate degree, preferably in business, economics or public policy. A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in related field and some grassroots experience, particularly in the asset building field, is preferred.
